This bird was hanging around my yard today, I doesn't look to me that it is a turkey.

Please let me know you thoughts on what type of bird this may be.

What you have there is a peahen, the female of the peacock bird.

Perhaps one of our readers will know whether this is a female peahen or perhaps a juvenile peacock.
