(Plattsville north of Bright, Ontario)
Driving east on my way to work across country on Road 92 I saw a big white bird rise from the ditch.
I was only 20 ft or so from it and got a clear sighting. It was a pure white Snowy Owl.
I stopped my van and pulled out my camera but it flew behind me then across the field to the north of the road, slowly flying low until it went out of sight behind a mound of furrows in the field.
In the pictures I've seen they always had marking but this one was pure white.
This area is west of Plattsville, Ontario, and if anyone needs specific details I'll be happy to map it for them.
