Snowy in August

I spotted a beautiful Snowy Owl perched on a building in Burlington on Monday August 12th at around 5:30 pm.

It is hanging around Eastport Drive at the Pier 25 entrance.

Outstanding!! I used to live in Manitoba and saw Snowy Owls, Great Horned Owls, and Great Grey Owls. Here in Southern Ontario, I've never had the pleasure. I once saw a Snowy Owl sitting on top of a telephone pole in downtown Winnipeg. You don't expect to have a major bird sighting in the middle of the city! It looks like you had the same thrilling experience. Lucky you!!!
