Robin Sightings

by Frank & a Reader from Windsor
(Markham & Windsor)

Frank from Markham wrote to tell us ..... I saw my first Robin on February 21, 2014 on the edge of our pond near open water, located in south east Markham, Ontario.

A reader from Windsor wrote to say ..... On February 2, 2014 in Windsor, Ontario, I spotted a Robin perched in a small tree while out walking my dogs. Why would a Robin return so early and it is such a cold winter here this year. Hope he will be okay. I wanted to take him home with me and keep him warm and fed until the warmer weather arrives!

Thank you both for writing to tell us about your Robin sightings, now we know Spring can't be far away!

Not all robins migrate

Not all Robins migrate. Many males will stay during the winter.
