Raptors

Was working in Edwards Gardens near the Bridle Path today July 11, 2014.

Caught a glimpse in the corner of my eye and I see a raptor in a big tree.

It started tearing into something, (I was not able to see what it had because of the angle). About 10 seconds later another raptor arrives squawking, and then another and then another.

In total 5 birds. The one eating was not sharing, so I suspect it was a pair and their offspring.

The ones making the noise appeared to not be as regal in flight as the other two.

Was very cool to see this today. Did not have camera regrettably.
