Mystery Hawk, Cooper's Hawk & Osprey

A reader from St Catharines wrote to us in March and said ... There's been a big Cooper's Hawk in my backyard. We have a bird feeder, so most times we see it trying to kill Mourning Doves. Sad, but cool to see!

A reader from Washago wrote to tell us about his sighting of a bird of prey ... Sunny day in Washago and we spotted what looked like an Osprey. We thought it had to be because nothing else registers as big with its colouring. Incredible sight.
