Large raptor at Victoria Park

I wasn't able to clearly identify the specific bird, but it appeared to be much larger than a hawk, was light coloured and had speckled chest.

It landed and perched in tree closest to park entrance at Clarence and Dufferin Street.

The size seemed to be more that of an Eagle than a falcon or hawk.

Beautiful bird whatever it was.

I believe what you had seen was an Osprey by your description of a lighter bird with specks on it's chest and they are slightly bigger than some Hawks, what a beautiful sight it must have been for you.
