Coopers Hawk

I was sitting in my backyard enjoying the sunshine this December day, I'm used to seeing all kinds of birds in my yard.

I even had a hawk swoop down and catch a sparrow one day, but today, a beautiful young Cooper's Hawk sat on my fence for at least one minute, looking around, then swooped low and flew away.

I was blown away, it's a once in a lifetime thing, what beauty and grace.

Of course I didn't have my camera with me.

Yes, it's too bad you didn't have your camera, but next time perhaps, you'll get a picture of the hawk.
