Wolf sighting, Windsor, Ontario

by Juanita
(Windsor, Ontario, Canada)

I just saw two Wolves last night (Oct 17, 2011) at the Banwell Rd - E C Row Expressway intersection.

One ran across the expressway toward the neighborhood near Mac's.

I hope they found each other again.

I also saw two last winter crossing Riverside Drive to Sandpoint Beach - it was about 3:30 a.m.

Maybe it's the same pair - definitely Wolves - not Coyotes or dogs.

Thanks for sending this to us. I will also post this on our facebook page.

I saw one cross the E C Row Expressway, for sure a wolf, very big at least 100 lbs. This was close to Fogolar Furlan.

I saw what looked like a Wolf as well. It was too big to be a Coyote, that I know for sure. I hear there are new cross bred Coywolf, maybe that??? At first I thought it was a deer from the distance, but as I got closer, I couldn't believe my eyes!

Saw a wolf cross Ojibway parkway near McDonalds. It stopped and looked my way too. A lot of people slowed down to look at this animal. I thought it was a small deer but when I got closer realized it wasn't.

Wolves spotted

Driving down Matchette Road from La Salle to Windsor, April 14, 2013 at 10:15pm. What looked like 2 wolves ran across Matchette Road right in front of the cars into Mic Mac park. They ran through the football field and went on into the neighborhood.
