Wild Turkeys......is it Thanksgiving already?

Thanksgiving came early

Thanksgiving came early

A flock of Turkeys makes a daily trek through my parents' neighbourhood.

I have seen these birds on many occasions, and while visiting this past weekend, I went outside into the backyard and found myself staring at a group of about 8-10 birds.

I tried to get as close as possible for a proper picture, but the bulk of the group ran off into the adjacent backyard. I was still able to capture a fairly decent shot of two turkeys.

As I stated before, these birds make a daily voyage through the area, foraging in backyards and in the empty lots in the neighbourhood.

Thank you so much for sending this to us, I know our readers will enjoy your picture and report of your Turkey encounter!
