Weird day in the hammer

Today I found a dead possum on a walk with my dog.

That's not too uncommon as I live near the train tracks.

But while walking near Bayfront Park I saw a weasel like animal in a tree.

I'm assuming it was a Fisher. He was fast. Too fast to get a photo.

Oh ya, the weird part of the dead Possum is it looked like it was shaved, either before or after death. With its fur beside it?

I just wondered, who would shave a possum?

I'm stumped, I have no idea who or what would shave a Possum!
