Two Wolves spotted in Stoney Creek

This may sound crazy but as I was leaving my home to go to work, I swear I spotted two Wolves on April 24, 2012 at around 6:30 am in Stoney Creek at a stop sign a block from my home.

They were crossing the street in front of me. One was white and the other a black/brown. They were walking together in my neighbourhood with lots of homes.

I thought it was crazy and looked around to see if maybe I could spot the owner, thinking maybe they are just big dogs, but no one was around and there definitely wasn't a collar on those "dogs".

I kept on driving, and unfortunately did not take a photo, though I should have just kept standing at that stop sign until they were out of sight.

It was incredible!

Thank you for telling us about your experience! I will also post this on our facebook page.

I saw 2 wolves walking on my street as well today January 15th 2013, and they were the same color you said.

I was on Stoney Creek Mountain last night (Third Road East) and saw a big black and brown Wolf walking alongside the road.
As you, I first thought it was a dog. A large German Shepherd. I turned back around after I passed it to take another look.
This time it was in the middle of the road and was looking right at me as I was driving towards it.
It was no dog. I guess the area has resident Wolves. I've also seen Foxes in the area as well.
