Two Reports

(Wasaga Beach & Belle River, Ontario, Canada)

We recently received two Bald Eagle sighting reports, one from a reader in Wasage Beach, and the other from a reader in Woodslee, Ontario .....

The first says - I was driving east on Molsley Street in late february 2009, and looked up at what I thought was a Raven or Crow and realized I was looking at a small Bald Eagle.

It was flying on an angle following the river towards Georgian Bay.

I am posting this February 2011 and I have not seen one since, but still I'm looking!

Jeff, another of our readers reports ..... Today, Tuesday March 2, 2011, I saw two adult Bald Eagles perched in a tree at the junction of Belle River Rd and County Rd 8, just south of Woodslee Ontario.

The pair sat there for at least 10 minutes as I watched them. They eventually flew off as several cars stopped to view them.

Thank you for your reports of Bald Eagle sightings, here in Southern Ontario.
