Turkey Vulture

I live in Victoria Harbour, Ontario, and to be honest although there's a lot of land, I'm usually not lucky enough to see any wild animals.

However, today on my way home from work (April 21, 2011, 5:00 pm) I was driving down a side road off the highway and I glanced over and just a little ways in the field I saw a bird - it was black with a red beak.

It was preying on something.... :S

It looked like a bird I had seen at the African Lion Safari, but I couldn't recall what it was, so I looked on here and I realized it was a Turkey Vulture.

I thought that was kind of cool, so I figured I would share.

I hope everyone gets a chance to see something like that.
