To Millbank, St Jacobs, Elmira and Elora

This is a nice day out from London or Stratford.

We first head for Millbank to have breakfast or lunch at Anna Mae's Restaurant & Bakery, and after purchasing a pie or two to take home we get back on the road.

Next we usually head for the village of St Jacobs which has lots of lovely shops and restaurants as well as a twice-weekly market, open on Thursdays and Saturdays.

From the village of St Jacobs we next go to Elmira which also has some great shops.

Next we go to the communities of Elora and Fergus which are other small villages on the banks of the Grand River, with interesting stores and then finally we check out the "Elora Gorge".

If we are hungry by this time we sometimes eat at The Gorge Country Kitchen on Wellington Road 7, which has a lovely outdoor patio for fine-weather dining.

We head home from Elora or nearby Fergus, via Wellington Rd 7 to Guelph, then highway 6 to highway 401 and then back to London.
