Driving along Pressey Road near Walkers Line, just east of the town of Aylmer, Ontario, yesterday I saw a field of Swans on the south side of the road.
There appeared to be hundreds of them eating the left-over corn from last year's crop.
This is only a couple of kilometers north-east from the Wildlife area next to the Ontario Police College.
We couldn't get close enough to hear them but there were several birds flying in and out while we were watching.
We are so lucky that they visit this area each spring on their migration north to their breeding grounds in the Arctic.
