Surprise!

I was sitting in my daughter's living room while my grandson was napping.

Suddenly through her patio windows (second storey) I saw a large winged bird come in for a landing on her deck.

Thinking it may be a hawk, I quickly, but quietly grabbed my phone and made my way to the window to take a picture.

Much to my surprise, it was a Turkey Vulture!

We live in St. George, Ontario. Her home is in a quiet sub-division.

I just messaged her at work & her response was "Where the heck did that come from?

Gunnar (her son in school) would have loved to see that!"
