Single Bald Eagle Sighting

by Sandra
(New Hamburg, Ontario, Canada)

Today (December 17, 2013) I saw a Bald Eagle fly over the 7/8 highway a few kilometres outside of Kitchener just before the Petersburg exit!

It was quite low and I knew right away it was a Bald Eagle - first, because of it's size and wing span, and second, because of it's white tail feathers.

Then once it flew across the highway, it turned and headed west (same direction I was travelling) so I could see it's white head perfectly.

It was so great to see!

I wish I would have been the passenger in the car so I could have watched where it went!
