Make sure you visit the town / village of ... Ridgeway, Ontario.

It is actually the rural area of Fort Erie.

It's like stepping back in time to peaceful times - a wonderful quaint little town with a good variety of eating places.

Surrounded by excellent, shallow, sandy beaches ... and marinas and golf courses - I have included a picture of Bernard Beach.

Lots of family fun ... and early Canadian history.

Thank you for sending us this information about Ridgeway, Ontario - I have never been there but will check it out the next time I visit the Niagara Falls area.

I have heard that the village of Ridgeway has a Summer Festival during the second weekend of July every year, where the streets are closed off and thousands of visitors stroll the historical down-town area, where they can enjoy the food vendors, music and shows, and enjoy the Victorian charm of the village.
