A Male Virginia Opossum has been over-wintering in our neighbour's back yard debris.

Although he is leaving tracks in our yard near the base of the bird feeders and to the fish pond, we have only seen him twice in daylight hours.

First, early on January 03, 2017, then today, Feb. 21, 2017, around noon walking away from the pond area.

Thank you for your great pictures - it is good to know that this big fella is surviving the winter.
I know our readers will enjoy reading this and seeing your pictures, as much as I have!
