Possible Red Tailed Hawk?

Spotted on our morning walk in Cambridge, Ontario, around Townline Road.

April 21, at about 7:30 am, 1 degree Celsius and a bit windy. Unfortunately I only had my smartphone with me for pictures.

In an adjacent tree, there was a squirrel presumably trapped because it was crying and seemed panicked.

Difficult to make out from the pictures, but I think it's a Red Tailed Hawk. It was quite big.

Can anybody confirm?
