What is the name of this bird?

What is the name of this bird?

Calling all Birdwatchers - one of our readers spotted this bird, she says - I just saw this one outside my window really busy with it's beak pecking at an evergreen tree. Would like someone to identify it for me.

Thanks for your picture, Jean, perhaps one of our readers will be able to identify this bird - I think it could be a Yellow Bellied Sap Sucker - maybe someone can identify it for sure!

Hi there - I think that is a Yellowbellied Sapsucker. I see them where we live now and again, so I am familiar with these Woodpeckers.
