Kitchener Birdwatching

I am an avid bird watcher and am visiting Kitchener, Ontario, for the next 10 days on business.

I am from Nova Scotia and would love the opportunity to do some birding while I am here.

Can anyone recommend some places (keep in mind, I do not have a vehicle with me, so close by would be preferable!)

Not sure how close you are or if there might be public transportation but there is a huge nest with 5 or 6 Osprey on Fountain Street crossing the Grand River.
