Help Identifying bird

(Carp, Ontario, Canada)

I wish I had pictures ..... there must have been a dozen of these birds in my backyard with some Robins.

At first we thought they were a Robin, but then noticed that they didn't have a red belly.

There is a burnt red colour on the back of their head, a longer beak than a robin, it is brown with pale striping and it has a very white back when in flight.

You cannot see the white until it is flying. I have never seen these birds before.

Do you have any idea what they might be?

I will try to get pictures if I can.
