Great Blue Heron at Rondeau Provincial Park, Ontario

I was at Rondeau a couple of weeks ago and observed a huge Great Blue Heron.

He / she was hunting for fish and we were able to watch for a while without startling them.

It was a beautiful day and we were able to take a long walk through the Provincial Park.

Rondeau Park used to be my old place of refuge. I knew the store owner, Mr. Hardwick, my math teacher at West Elgin District High School. Many summers I spent on the beach there. A beautiful Provincial Park.
