First time lucky

Today at 4:00 pm on highway 402 just south of Sarnia, at the truck weigh station, I spotted an eagle on a branch 8 feet off the ground. I made the mistake of getting out of the car to get a picture and of course he or she took off.

But then I got the best surprise of all. I look straight over head and there were two bald eagles circling in some kind of tight pattern, but too far for my cannonsx510 to capture.

I was actually just out to get pics of hawks, I know of a little further south of that location and this caught me off guard as I've only been bird watching for seven days. If this is how it goes, now I'm camera hunting, before bird watching again.
