Fall Migration

by cjp
(Kingston, Ontario Canada)

About a dozen swans were seen in Collins Bay area of Kingston, Ontario. Arrived in early November. This is a shallow bay adjacent to wetland.

The weather has been unseasonably warm, so they may stick around for a while.

Thanks for your report of your sighting of the Swans. As you know, we get tens of thousands through Southern Ontario in Spring, when the birds are heading north, but they are seen in much fewer numbers in the fall as they head south again for the winter.
