Eastern Fox Snake

Eastern Fox Snake

My Grandparents have a hobby farm located in St Anns, Ontario, at this time the family is helping them fix up their barn.

Living in the walls is a family of Eastern Fox Snakes who also, from time to time, visit my Grandma in the house.

My son, along with his cousins, managed to find a snake skin from the snake, and half went with his cousins, the other half he took with him to school, along with milk weed pod seeds that were gathered on a walk.

My Grandma took this picture of the snake and is happy to pass it along.

I agree, it is a Milk Snake, Fox Snakes are never that red.

Nice shot, but I think it's a Milk Snake not a Fox Snake - take a close look at the whitish background with reddish blotches outlined in black. Fox snakes are found in the Long Point area, Essex-Kent and eastern Georgian Bay.
