Coyote

Coyote

Cindy, one of our readers from Aurora, Ontario, sent us this report - It was 6:00 pm April 7, 2010 - in broad daylight a Coyote crossed my front lawn to the backyard, to the forested area and then to the golf course (Beacon Hall).

I have small dogs, so needless to say, I was very concerned. I quickly made sure they were in the house. We have an invisible fence to keep our pooches confined, but that will not keep the Coyotes out.

This was too close for comfort! Since living in this area I have had 5 sightings of them.

Thanks for the report of your sighting, I found a picture of a Coyote to add to your page

Coyote sighting in Aurora, Ontario
by: Anonymous

It's just after 8am on March 16th, 2012...I just saw a coyote pass behind our house in Aurora. It crossed from Golf Links golf course behind our house and neighbour's homes. It was not using it's back left leg and was just trotting along.

COYOTE WANDERING IN AURORA, ONTAIO
by: Anonymous

June 4-2011 I was driving along St.Johns Sideroad between industrial road and Yonge St.. I spotted a coyote and called the non emergency line. There were several cars that had pulled over in disbelief given that it was 7pm and still very light outside. This coyote appeared very disoriented and was crossing Yonge St. back and forth in the middle of traffic.. It concerns me that there could have been a mishap with this coyote and the several kids that we spotted walking alone on the street..
