Black Wolf in London

by Bob
(London, Ontario, Canada)

It was about 6:00 am and I was leaving London turning off Wellington Road heading towards Windsor where Wellington Road and the 401 meet, when a large animal almost black or a deep brown crossed in front of me.

It was larger than a Coyote about the height of a St. Bernard dog weighing around 70lbs, very sleek, long fluffy tail and it headed towards the White Oaks area.

Approximately a month later someone else told me he saw the same size animal at around 6:30 am crossing Wellington Road near the Glanworth Curve.

I've looked on the internet and found a picture of a Black Wolf that looks very much like the one I saw.

Could it be?
