Eagle Checking Me Out

Dave, one of our readers sent us this information - While clearing a light snowfall off the driveway this morning, my attention was drawn to the top of a nearby tree where several noisy crows were protesting the presence of a Bald Eagle.

By the time I retrieved my camera the crows had left, but the Eagle remained to pose for a few pictures.

As the Eagle took to the air I was very impressed with the grace and unmistakable beauty of its flight. What a treat!

Thank you so much for your report and picture - how lucky you are to have seen this, and have the pictures too!

Saw a bald eagle fly pretty low (and slow!) over me and my dog at the bottom of Brigden Road, at Old Lakeshore. Just beautiful!!! We had seen it once this summer, same spot.

I was waiting for the school bus with my daughter and we saw a Bald Eagle in the tree across the road. I was beautiful.

The crows were annoying it so it flew away. I did get a few pictures.

Absolutely amazing.

For at least the last two seasons, I have seen Bald Eagles at the mouth of the Ruscom River, on the north shore of Lake St Clair.

Pretty cool eh!
