Bald Eagle near St Thomas

On Sunday afternoon, December 9th 2012, I was driving from the little community of Frome, Ontario, to St Thomas, along County Road 45.
As I was between Rieger Road and Sunset Road, I spotted a mature Bald Eagle in a tree on the north side of the road.
I was in a hurry, so I only slowed down slightly to see the bird, but the large size and unmistakable white head of this individual confirmed that it was indeed, an adult Bald Eagle.
He (or she) was in a tall tree with a great view of his surroundings, so he was possibly watching for potential prey for his lunch! The picture here shows clearly the white head and size of the bird, although, this isn't the one I saw, it is identical!
