Wolf on the fringe

by Linda Plastino
(Georgetown, Ontario, Canada)

I was coming home to Georgetown today along (9th line) Mountainview.

Just before hitting the edge of town (Georgetown South), in a farmer's field on the right side of the road, I saw a beautiful Wolf standing with his head high smelling the air as the snow lightly blew.

He was alone.

The SUV behind me also slowed to take a look.

It is the first Wolf I have seen around here.

We have seen many Foxes before, but never a Wolf.

Thank you for telling us about your experience! I will also post this on our facebook page.
