One of my favourite Canadian wildlife artists, Michael Dumas was born in Whitney, Ontario near the Algonquin National Park.
It would be so difficult to pick a favourite print, because there are so many that I love, but I guess my favourites would be the “Laneway Bobwhite”, the “High Point – Belted Kingfisher” and “Wet Spring – The Saw Whet Owl”.
We have a small collection of his Limited Edition prints for sale which are listed below.
I’m intrigued by the artist's ability to make his wildlife subjects appear ready to fly away if you were to startle them!

I was sitting in my house I glanced out of the front window and saw people staring into my driveway. When I went to investigate I saw a Coopers Hawk sitting on top of my van.

On January 24, in Toronto, Ontario, we were sitting having a late night tea with the light on out back and saw a small opossum just sitting there munching on bird seed.
