One of my favourite Canadian wildlife artists, Michael Dumas was born in Whitney, Ontario near the Algonquin National Park.
It would be so difficult to pick a favourite print, because there are so many that I love, but I guess my favourites would be the “Laneway Bobwhite”, the “High Point – Belted Kingfisher” and “Wet Spring – The Saw Whet Owl”.

I’m intrigued by the artist's ability to make his wildlife subjects appear ready to fly away if you were to startle them!

We saw a male and female mate today in Kitchener Ontario, on Silverspring Crescent! We then saw the female fly to her nest on that street and the male finished eating a smaller bird he had caught!
