Definitely a Wolf!

by Anon
(Fonthill, Ontario, Canada)

I live in Fonthill, Ontario, and on Thursday October 28, 2010 at around 1am I was driving, and the car in front of me slowed down for an animal that was about to cross the road.

From my vantage point it looked like it was a Deer. The animal turned around and did not cross the road (Pelham Rd. near Foss Rd.) as I passed where the animal was, I slowed to a stop to see if I could see what it was, and not 15 feet away from my car, turned around and facing me was a white Wolf.

I am 100% sure it was not a Coyote, and there is no way it was a domestic dog. I drive an SUV and even standing down off the road the animal's head was almost the same height as my door. I made eye contact with it before it turned around and trotted away.

There is no doubt in my mind at all that what I saw was a Wolf.
