Young unidentified bird in Borden Ontario

I have recently seen what looks like a young bird around my feeder.


He has characteristics of a female Cardinal but the beak is black.

The vocalizations are different from the cardinals as well.

Any ideas?

The bird you saw may be a Cedar Waxwing, look it up on the internet and see if the pictures resemble the bird. They can look like the female Cardinal but have a black mask and beak.
