Wolves in Southern Ontario

by Susan King
(Waterloo, Ontario, Canada)

My father use to run a sled team of dogs in the mid-late 70's and early 80's near Baden Ontario.

He knows the difference between Coyotes and Wolves and often talked about how packs of Wolves would run along with the sled team in the bush at night.

He also spotted a big Wolf in the scope of his rifle in a field near St Agatha about 10 years ago.

They are here and have been for quite some time.

Thanks for the info, Susan, we get lots of reports of Wolves and Wolf-Coyote hybrids in Southern Ontario.
