Wolf sighting,Tyendinaga County

by Corey
(Eastern Ontario)

I had to brake to avoid a lone Wolf crossing Shannonville, cutting through farmer's fields. I was able to get a close look at it. I caught it in the distance running away on my Iphone video.

It's coat has redish, brown, grey tones, and it was too husky to be a Coyote, it appeared in good condition with a puppy-like demeanor.

It seemed about the size of average Husky, possibly 85 pounds give or take 10 pounds

I pulled over to film it. As it hit the long grass approximately 100 yards away, it stopped and turned back to get a look at me, then slowed in pace.

Thank you so much for your report of this Wolf sighting!
