White Squirrels

by Two Readers
(Grand Bend and Belle River)

We have two reports of sightings of White Squirrels to share with our readers.

Alison, of London, Ontario, tells us ..... I saw a white Squirrel between Grand Bend and Bayfield, Ontario, last Cananda Day at my Aunt's cottage, in a tree.

Me and thirty other people saw it! Very Very White! Never seen anything like it!

I will be up there soon and will be looking to see if I see it again.

Another reader tells us ..... I have seen White Squirrels in Belle River on the road Alexander Beach, they have been there for a few years now.

Thanks for telling us about the White Squirrels - it seems there are more around than we thought!

White squirrel in Bayfield
by: Mary

We have had a white squirrel in Bayfield during the summer and fall of 2017. It frequently visited my neighbourhood on the east side of Highway 21. Today, January 9, 2018, it was clambering up and down the spruce trees in my backyard.
