Saw a Lynx in my backyard in the winter

by Spencer Thivierge
(Temiskaming Shores)

I was walking my dog in my back yard, and I was at the side of my house walking toward the back, and I saw a family of Lynx.

I ran inside to get my camera and I got a few good pictures before they ran off into my neighbours yard.

Thanks Spencer, if you have the pictures, we would love to see them and I can add them to your report - just submit them using the same form.

You are so lucky to have seen a Lynx so close to your house - so many of us will never even see one in our life time! Are they common in Northern Ontario? Did you get a picture of it?
