Robins sighted in High Park

by Michael Bradt
(Toronto, Ontario.)

Robin iin the snow

One of our readers sighted the first Robins of the season, Michael says - On February 6th, 2010, there were dozens and dozens of Robins at High Park near the Cafe at the top of the hill by the pond.

I didn't think they would be here already. Is this unusual? They were all hanging out on the portion of the hill that had no snow. They were all on the ground eating together.

Thanks for your time.

Michael

Thanks for your report Michael - yes, this is early to see Robins this far north in February. Lets hope that we don't get too much cold weather for the rest of the winter!
