Osprey in St Thomas

April 22nd 2011 at around the noon hour, I and three others, spotted a very large Osprey flying over Kettle Creek.

I found this site to identify the bird.

At first we thought it was a Blue Heron but quickly realized it wasn't.

Close by were eight Turkey Vultures and the Osprey seem to dwarf them in size.

Anyway this was the first I have seen one in the area.

Nice sighting!
