Not sure of the species...

Flicker & Sapsucker

Flicker & Sapsucker

Saw what I thought looked like a golden fronted woodpecker, in Southern Ontario not possible, right?

It may have been a Northern Flicker or a type of Sapsucker. Beautiful to watch none the less.

I found a couple of pictures here - do either of these look like the birds you saw?

The Flicker is a ground feeding Woodpecker that we see frequently where we live, and the Yellow Bellied Sapsucker is also shown, but I don't see those very often in the London area.
