This little guy decided to pop by for a visit while we were sitting out on our patio.

Even though it didn't move when we walked up to it, it stayed still and just stared at us just like it did in this photo for about five minutes.

Is that normal?

I'm not sure whether it is usual for a Possum to be so laid back, as they often snarl and show their teeth when they feel threatened, but perhaps you were calm and he didn't feel he had to defend himself.

I hope he finds somewhere snug and warm for the winter!
