Last one out is a rotten egg!

by Natalie Newton
(St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada)

The first one hatched!

The first one hatched!

This charming picture and story are from one of our readers in St Catherines, Ontario. Thank you Natalie, for your contribution!

We recently moved back to my home town and had nowhere in our new home to put our artificial tree, so my husband put it on the front porch.

A pair of Robins thought it would make a lovely summer home and built a nest in our fake tree!

I've been keeping my eye on the nest and have been blindly taking occasional pictures of the inside of the nest as it is too high for me to look in.

I was very excited this time to see that one of the eggs had hatched.

Our entire family feels very privileged and honored to watch this miracle of life right on our front step!
