Today is February 1 2012 and I just saw my third sighting of Robins in my back yard.
Last week I saw three of them on two consecutive days.
Why are they still here this time of year?
I'm not sure why they are still here, maybe this winter has been too mild and they didn't fly south when they should have.
Another alternative theory is that they left at the end of last summer, but now are coming back here early. They usually arrive in the London, Ontario, area around the beginning of March, so if that is what happened, they are a month early!
