Help ... what kind of bird is this?

by Lorie
(London, Ontario, Canada)

This wild bird will not leave our yard and has adopted my husband.

It comes to him as soon as he goes into the yard.

Thank you so much for your report and adorable pictures - I have no idea what this bird may be, but I hope one of our readers will be able to identify it.

Hermit Thrush
by: MJM

Might be a Hermit Thrush but my National Geographic book suggests they are not native to Southern Ontario. I think I also found one of these feeding on seed in my own Pickering, Ontario backyard mid September 4, 2017.

Look at the Audobon Birds free app, I use it all the time. They also have Bird Calls app.
