Hawk in High Park

by Marinus Pater
(Georgetown, Ontario, Canada)

Last Sunday in High Park, Toronto, I came across this beautiful Red Tailed Hawk, lunching on a Squirrel.

It gave me dirty, warning looks, but was not about to give up his lunch.

What fabulous photographs! Thank you Marinus for sending these to us!

Beautiful photos !

Wow, lovely photos! I'm so glad you had your camera with you.

Hawks are my favourite raptor simply because they are so accessible to us all.

We can see Hawks of all kinds all over Toronto ..... all we have to do is look up and so few do

Once again THANKS for sharing these beautiful pics :)
