First Robin of 2013
This morning March 1st at 5:30 am as I was returning home from my daily hour walk, I could have sworn there was a Robin in our tree.
He was tweeting for the longest and loudest.
I did not see him because it being still dark, but I know the distinct Robin sound. So I quickly filled our bird feeder but my Husband was not sure if Robins eat seeds.I think suet might be better than seeds as they eat worms and grubs, and they won't find many around at this time.
Josephine, I hope you don't mind, but I moved your submission to our "Robins" section and gave it a page of its own - more people are likely to see it here.
