Coyotes

We live rurally in "Upper" Milton.

We see fresh tracks daily in the snow in our garden and in the fields and road sides.

One Coyote came sauntering up our driveway at 11:00 am one morning, as if it were a dog, as confident as can be.

I figure that we have a pack of about 5-7 Coyotes, sometimes traveling together, sometimes alone.

In one night they dismembered and carried away a large road kill deer. My dog was alert to what was going on not 100' from the house.

Another time they left the front half of a fawn on a garden path.
